Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they will tell you everything you will need to know about the agreement you will enter into if you accept our quotation for Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd to carry out works as stated within the quote.

When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails. When we use the term “works” or “work” in these terms, this relates to the required works specified in the quotation.

When we use the term “Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd” it means Glow Plumbing and Heating Ltd. We are Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd, a Company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 10654824 and our registered office is at Unit 20, Galley Lane Farm, Galley Lane, Milton Keynes, MK17 9AA. Our registered V.A.T number is 382 1447 00. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

Our quotations are valid for 30 days from date shown on quotation, if you like to use us after the 30 days, we will let you know if there has been a change in the price requiring a revised quotation and the reasons why.

Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd will carry out the whole of the works specified in the quotation at the price quoted during normal working hours but any variations or additions requested by you and carried out by ourselves, Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd, including variations the necessity of which becomes
apparent after work commences, will be subject to an additional charge, An additional charge may be made if you want us to work outside our normal working hours, Which are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. We will need to access your property at all times during the installation/repair. If you do not
allow us access to your property to perform the services as arranged (and you do not have a good reason for this) we may charge you additional costs incurred by us as a result. If, despite our reasonable efforts, we are unable to contact you or re-arrange access to your property we may end the contract.
The time estimate provided for the completion of the installation is our best estimate of the likely time scale prior to commencement of the works, and we cannot accept liability for any costs, losses or expense of whatever nature, incurred by you as a result of any delays. 01908 110460 info@glowmk.com

The price specified in this quotation does not include the price of removing any dangerous waste material such as asbestos found when undertaking the works. This will be subject to extra charges. If you are a tenant, you may need your landlords permission to carry out the work covered by this quotation. Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd will assume that you have obtained such permission. Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd shall not have any liability for any loss or damage however arising from failure to obtain such permission.

All fitted furniture, carpets, linoleum and special types of flooring, for example, tongue and groove parquet, hardwood, rubber or tiled floors must be removed as required by Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd and you shall be responsible for their replacement when the work is completed. In many cases, this removal and replacement is best left to a specialist contractor and you should seek advice accordingly. If agreed before commencement of works Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd is required to lift any carpets, linoleum and special types of flooring, as stated above, Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd cannot accept liability for any costs, losses or expense of whatever nature, incurred by you as a result in any damages.

The work will be carried out in a proper work like manner but Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd cannot be held liable for any damage unavoidably cause to decorations, fittings and the like as a result of installing/maintaining any new or existing equipment as specified in the quotation or removing, replacing or disturbing existing pipework, appliances, tanks, cylinders or other fixtures and fittings Where Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd need to connect new equipment onto the existing pipework/equipment it shall not be liable for any breakdown or poor performance of/or damage caused to your existing system as a result of faulty pipe work or some other defect or malfunction of your system. Further Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd cannot accept liability for any deterioration in the performance of the system caused by fluctuations in the water pressure.

Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd shall not have liability for any failure to perform its obligations under this quotation/invoice if it is prevented from doing so by causes reasonably beyond its control, including unforeseen circumstances, such as industrial disputes, strikes, lock-out, fire, accidents, war or problems with the fabrication of the building including the roof, or problems with goods being delivered on time by a third party. Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd shall not have any liability for any incident, special or consequential loss or damage or loss of profit with the exemption of damage of death or personal injury. The total liability of Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd under this agreement shall not exceed the price paid. Further, should any additional work be required as a result of such

All work carried out by Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd carries a full 12 month guarantee (only where materials and appliances are supplied by Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd), except servicing/maintenance/repair which is guaranteed for 28 days.

The deposit shown (min 20%, up to a maximum of £500, unless 0% credit agreement) overleaf must be paid on acceptance of the quotation. Upon satisfactory completion the remaining payment must be made within 14 days from date of invoice, except where you have entered into a credit agreement.

If you wish to make a change to the product you have ordered please contact us. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible we will let you know about any changes to the price of the product, the timing of supply or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.

We may change the product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and to implement minor technical adjustments and improvements. These changes will not affect your use of the product. In addition, we may make changes to these terms or the product, but if we do so we will notify you and you may then contact us to end the contract before the changes take effect and receive a refund for any products paid for but not received.

Should you cancel your order at any time prior to the commencement of the works and where applicable, after the period during which you entitled to withdraw from a credit agreement, then in addition to any other rights which it may have, Glow Plumbing & Heating Ltd will retain the deposit as a contribution towards any cost which it has incurred or a minimum of 20% of the total order up to a maximum of £500. Unless 0% credit agreement agreed.

This quotation/invoice cannot be varied except in writing by Glow Plumbing & Heating ltd. In the absence of any prior written agreement to the contrary, payment of charges is required of our invoice. Failure to make payment within 28 days of the due date will result in the matter being referred to our debt collection agents whose charges will be added to, and payable with the invoice debt. 01908 110460 info@glowmk.com
